عصفورة صغيرة تفتش عن رزق أولادها، وجدته بعد بحث طويل، وهي تلتقطه بمنقارها حط طير كبير والتقطه منها، وعندما طار به والعصفورة تنظر إليه محتسبة بالله؛ هاجمه طيرٌ أكبر منه فالتقطه والرزقَ المسروق.

Soon-to-be world’s oldest sisters have combined age of 391 years

They’ve been through 19 prime ministers, five monarchs, and survived two World Wars. Their names are Gladys Camp, Phyllis Friend, Doris Latham, and Freda Latham, and with their 391 years combined, these four British women are set to become the world’s oldest sisters.

The eldest, twins Freda and Doris, just celebrated their 101st birthdays, and Gladys and Phyllis are 96 and 93, respectfully. And despite losing two of their other sisters who were close to 100 when they died, the family says the secret to their longevity comes from living a simpler kind of life.

“It was the way we were brought up, I am positive of it.” Gladys told SWNS. “Today they have all spiced up things and I don’t think it does you any good.”

She also said that she and her sisters have had some “lovely times all together” and their parents would be shocked at their great accomplishment.

The only thing standing in their way of becoming officially recognized? According to the Guinness World Records, they have not yet received an application from the sisters. They did, however, confirm that it would be welcome as the current record for highest combined age of four siblings is 388 years.

Until then, the women, who have 11 children, 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and even two great great grandchildren among them, are sad their other sisters couldn’t make it, but thrilled to be where they are now.

“It is just a shame that Amy and May can not share this achievement,” Gladys said. But it is an incredible achievement. We are really excited that we could be world record breakers.”
